Detection and Elimination of Iron Residual Magnetic of Power Transformer

The reasons and principles of iron residual magnetic of power transformer are analyzed from aspects of inherent electrophoresis of magnetism of ferromagnetic material.The negative effects of residual magnetism on operation of transformer and power system are analyzed.The method of detection of residual magnetism of transformer is proposed.The issue of how to eliminate residual magnetism is discussed.
