Methodological research on getting Snort alerts on network security management platform

Snort is a kind of intrusion detection system integrated in network security management platform. It is the first step to realize the product integration by collecting the alerts of Snort.A method of getting Snort alerts by using XML, SSL and RMI technology is presented. Furthermore,the implementation of such technology on Java platform is described in detail with part of relative codes given. Finally,the next research target is discussed.
