A software serial number creation method based on elliptic curve digital signature algorithm

Elliptic Curve Cryptosystem is widely used because it has many advantages such as a high security, a wide range of curve selection, a quicker speed in encryption and decryption, and higher cryptogrammic intensity than RSA under the same length cipher key. Actually, Elliptic Curve Digital Signature is a simulation of the digital signature on the elliptic curve under this cryptosystem. In this paper, a software serial number creation and verification method based on Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm is shown, and the security and feasibility of this method has been proved in practice.
