A fuzzy weighted mean filter based on the degrees of compatibility between the neighboring pixels

We propose some modified fuzzy weighted filters based on reference[1]. Our scheme not only considers the compatibility of neighboring pixels with respect to the center pixel and the compatibi lity of the center pixel with respect to neighboring pixels at the same time, but also considers the adaptivity of the weighted coefficient according to the local environment. The experiment results show that this method is compared with those of other standard techniques in the respect of noise removal and edge preservation in the process of image smoothing.
