The Application of NetFlow Network Traffic Analysis Techniques on the LAN

Traffic analyzing is essential for accounting user traffic and detecting anomaly traffic.Since conventional traffic analyzing tools use only TCP/UDP/IP header information in which could be used by different applications,they cannot effectively classify diverse application traffic.The characteristics and working theory of netflow are discussed,and its application in local area network is probed.
