Development of power supply for WEDM with fast over-current protection and controlled by touch screen

It is noted that the over currency plays a negative role during process of certain key part of automobile with a special WEDM.To eliminate the affect,a new pulse WEDM power is proposed that meet all need.The pulse source of the power is produced by PWM module embedded in PIC18F458 micro-computer,which makes the variability of the frequency and the duty ratio convenient and the stability of it perfect.Besides,the over-current signal detected by the Hall sensor is used to make the over-current protector practical.Moreover,the touch screen is applied to the project to make the human-machine interface friendly,convenient and flexible.Under experimental investigation,it is found that the protector works sensitively to prevent from over-current state,and improves the processing quality.
