Broad Integrated Services Digital Network (B-ISDN) is the high phrase of Narrow Integrated Services Digital Network (N-ISDN). Its basic component is a terminal-to-terminal connected communicating network, which use Asynchronous Transfer Model (ATM) and can realize constant bit rat (CBR) and variable bit rat (VBR). The communicative services of B-ISDN has its own alternation services and distribution services in addition to the services of N-ISDN. The intellectualization of B-ISDN offers an expansive foreground for its application and development.
