Design and Implementation of Low-power Consumption Node in LR-WPAN

A low-power Low Rate Wireless Personal Area Network(LR-WPAN) node based on the MSP430F2410 and CC2533 is designed to solve the energy limited in the LR-WPAN applications.This paper introduces a hardware and software design of the low-power LR-WPAN node after a brief analysis on its performance and power consumption in each module.Performance test on the node shows that the designed node has low-power consumption and reliable communications so that it fully meets the performance needs of the LR-WPAN.
