Research on Digital Measure and Data Processing of Complex Surface in RE

Digital measure and data processing are the key technology of complex surface in reverse engineering (RE), they will directly affect the precision of surface reconstruction. The paper presented the new method of abnormity part measuring coordinate, the best measuring layout and higher precision data processing using Cimatron software for the processing of complex surface. The “point cloud” data for surface reconstruction of RE were obtained.
