Study of Storage Subsystem in Object-Oriented Database

The main task of storage subsystem in object oriented database system(OODBS)is not only to deal with volatile objects,but also to manage and store plenty of shared and permanent objects,that's why OODBS is complicated and different from other system. In this essay, several key points are discussed with regarding to the design and realization process of storage subsystem in OODBS, some challenging questions,which can not be answered completely so far, were put forward.
