The Cut-off Characteristics of SHAN ZI Ridge Waveguide by Using FDTD Method

The cut-off characteristics of SHAN ZI ridge waveguide is analyzed by the finite difference time domain(FDTD)method.In order to demonstrate the validity of the FDTD method,the cut-off characteristics of TE-mode of the SHAN ZI ridge waveguide is calculated under the condition and a comparison is given.The normalized cut-off wavelength of the SHAN ZI ridge waveguide filled with different dielectric(er)has been given.The law,the relation of the normalized cut-off wavelength and the loaded medium width SHAN ZI ridge waveguide partially filled with different medium,has be given.
