Beijing toponyms database was constructed on September,2008.How to update and apply it is considered at present,and updating is the precondition of application.A system and operation flow on updating of Beijing toponyms database are formed.This paper prompts some methods to solve problems occurred in maintain of Beijing toponyms database,and prospects updating and application of the database in future.
