The Attacking Principle Resulted from Stack and Non-stackBased Exploitation of Buffer Overflow on Windows 2000

It is one of the most popular attacking means to reach remote control by exploitation of buffer overflow.So far,there are two main ways;one is based on stack and the other on non-stack.This thesis tries to take as an example the Microsoft IIS 5.0.printer ISAPI Extension Buffer Overflow Vulnerability of Chinese win2000 to illustrate their attacking principle and make comparison between the two.
