APPLICATION OF EMPIRICAL MODE DECOMPOSITION IN ANALYZING AND PROCESSING PRECURSORY DATA

Based on simulation test,EMD method and algorithm were studied and applied in precursor data processing.Through analyzing minute data of water tube tiltmeter in Wushi station with EMD,high frequency anomaly signal was particular prominent and coseismic effect was inhibited.With decomposition of integral hour value,they extracting IMF1、IMF2 as semidiurnal wave and diurnal wave which can describe trend variation accurately and contain significant physical meaning.Meanwhile,this method also can analyze distorted data and has great application prospect.
