The Implementation of Quick FITS Spectrum Processing based on Multi-threading

In astronomy,the basic information of celestial bodies is usually obtained from their spectrums.The basic storage format of spectrum is FITS.The spectrums obtained from observations are great in number and take a huge storage space and need quick automatic processing.At present,most software for FITS file processing could only process a single FITS file at a time,and can not meet the requirements of quick FITS file processing.This paper explains the FITS file structure in detail,constructs the object oriented access mechanism and implements multithreading technique to extract spectrums from FITS files concurrently.Experiments shows the efficiency of this processing mechnism.
