Modernization of Management of Large-scale Precision Instruments in Universities

The modernization and practice of management of large-scale precision instruments in the universities of China are presented based on investigation of the pertinent history,the arts of the state and trends of development as well as the practice. It is found that nowadays in the universities,the large-scale precision instruments are managed in a collective way at three graded platforms by specialized technicians. In the recent years,various computers,network and video monitor-based management systems were developed and applied,including digital recording-video monitoring system, local network of precision instruments,network-based multimedia teaching and management systems,laboratory safety training system,websites for precision instruments laboratories,auto-management system for personnel pass in and out, management system for large-scale precision instruments laboratory. It demonstrates that the modernization of the management of large-scale precision instruments laboratories in the universities are undergoing in intelligentized, informational and networking way.
