Design of Common Monitoring and Alarm System for Ship’s E/R

This paper introduces the design of a centralized monitoring and alarm system for all important equipments of a ship,in which extended PLC module is used for date collection,PLC is used for data processing unit and industrial control computer system is used for display unit.
