AWMAP Speckle Reduction Algorithm for SAR Image

MAP filter is a filter which is often used to reduce the speckle of SAR images.This paper applies a method of adaptive window to improve MAP filter according to the characteristics of SAR images.It can adjust the size of filtering window adaptively according to the statistics of pixels within the window.In actual experiment,this improved method proved to have good performance in reducing speckle and preserving details at the same time.
