Application of Result-Chain Modeling in CIMS Implement

Based on the study of enterprise modeling theory and CIMS implementation methodology, RCM method (Result-Chain Based Modeling,RCM) is used to analyze an enterprise's CIM system. RCM Model of the enterprise's CIMS is built. Results show that because RCM emphasizes on the interrelationships between different parts of the system and their contribution to the ultimate aim of enterprises, it can help people with communication and decision during CIMS implement. The study also shows that RCM is effectively complementary to traditional modeling methods.
