Rotor Position Obtaining of PMSM Based on Resolver-to-digital Converter

On the basis of working principle analysis of resolver and resolver-to-digital converter AD2S1205,the paper focused on the interface circuit design of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor(PMSM) rotor position acquisition based on the resolver,AD2S1205 and digital signal processor(DSP) of PMSM controller.After finishing hardware simulation analysis of the interface circuit based on the Cadence/Pspice software,the experiment of PMSM system was then implemented to validated the design of interface circuit,and the experimental results validated that the designed interface circuit had the following features such as simple,reliable and strong anti-interference abilities,and also accurately obtained rotor position of PMSM drive system in electric vehicle.
