A Texture Feature Extraction and Application Based on Fractal Dimension

To begin with texture feature extraction,the paper presents how to efficiently extract texture features to describe the content of images,then based on the common methods to acquire the fractal dimension of a image nowadays to extracted texture features,and design texture-based image retrieval system.The experiment proves that fractal dimension as texture feature algorithm reflects texture feature of image more precisely.
