Application of Different Communication Platform in On-line Monitoring System for Pollution Source

The paper discussed the kind of the communication platform in the data transmission module of monitoring system for the pollution source, especially discussed the advantages and disadvantages of each kind of communication platform and compared them. The choice of the communicate platform is very important to economy, reliability, timeliness and security of date transmission. Short message sent (SMS) is used to transmit the data of monitoring system which is an advanced way in China.
