Survey on applications of data mining in power system

Power systems are currently facing an explosive growth of data.Data mining(DM) technology plays an important role to obtain more and underlying rules or knowledge from database.Techniques and applications of DM are presented in the paper,cross industry standard process date mining(CRISPDM) and primary approaches are described in detail.Overview of DM applications in power system are analyzed.Trends of their applications are also presented finally.
