Studies and Implements of Bluetooth Encryption Algorithm Based on DES

On the analysis of the questions of encryption algorithm that is adopted by Bluetooth standard, it is suggested that the main problem of security in the Bluetooth Communications is the inherent deficiencies of E 0 encryption algorithm, e.g. parameters of E 0 encryption algorithm are easy to be exchanged. The BT -DES was designed based on the standard DES. The solutions of hardware and software of BT -DES were also given. BT -DES has great advantages of rapidity and computing complexity.
