One method for implementation of a BICMOS integrated regulator which has very low static power dissipation is presented. The theory of the regulator is demonstrated in detail, its circuits and curves and data of simulation are also given. This circuit adopts a self-bias current bandgap reference in order to improve the PSRR and temperature characteristics.A high current efficiency output buffer is designed,in order to reduce the static power dissipation. To prevent the overshoot of output voltage,a structure of the error amplifier and NMOS is adopted, and then the non-overshoot of output voltage is ensured when the input voltage is in the power on stage.
