Reducing the Information Lagging——a Goal of Optimal Management of University Library's Periodical Service

The information lagging is a common phenomenon in all links of library's periodical service.Starting from two aspects of the service management and service mode,this paper analyzes the causes and influences of the information lagging,and puts forward some methods for reducing the information lagging.
