A review of the recent study progresses in anticancer activity of flavonoids

Bioactive ingredients in natural foods play an important role in prevention and treatment of human diseases.The anticancer activity of flavonoids,a class of polyphenols,has attracted much attention of scientists in different research fields.In this paper,we reviewed recent progresses in epidemiological,molecular mechanism and structure-activity relationship studies on anticancer activity of flavonoids.
