AXIAL NONLINEAR VIBRATION OF LARGE POWER TRANSFORMER WINDING
Hong Wang · Power System Technology · 2000
An axial nonlinear vibration mathematical model for transformer windings with unbalanced ampere\|turn is presented. The rules of displacement, amplitude and phase shift of axial vibration of transformer winding, which vary with time, under the condition of short\|circuit are calculated and analyzed. The influence of some factors, such as axial prestress etc., on axial dynamic behaviors of winding is discussed. The results of the study show that, keeping the axial compression can strengthen the axial stability of windings and improve the ability of withstanding the impact caused by short\|circuit current.
