Operation analysis of polypropylene catalyst metering system

The polypropylene(PP)catalyst is highly active,and its consumption is as small as 0.033 kg/t PP.The catalyst in use is prepared as paste.In order to accurately measure the catalyst,Italian Basell Company specialized in liquid phase and gas-phase polypropylene process designed a complicated,difficult to operate catalyst metering system.The paper presents the operating principles,logic,and accurate operation of the catalyst metering system and discusses the problems in PP production.
