An effective algorithm of welding seam image edge extraction

Based on the machine visual intelligence welding automation,this paper puts forward an effective arithmetic.Through image filtering,image sharpening and binarization reinforcing and by filtering noise of binarized image with morphology-based filtering method,it adopts Roberts edge operator to extract welding image edge and uses skeleton arithmetic extraction.In the preprocessing and detecting,the region of interest is used.The result shows that the algorithm has the characteristics of real-time,reliability and robustness.
