Position Data Collection and Processing for Variable Rate Sprayer

In this paper, a collection and processing method of position data was introduced for variable rate sprayer. The real-time control and navigation of sprayer is the foundation to implement variable rate sprayer. Combining GPS and GIS and using VB6.0 and MapX5.0, carry out the real-time control and navigation of sprayer. The results make feasible basic for further variable rate sprayer.
