Transmission of RoI Video Stream Based on H.264/SVC in Wireless Network

In the wireless network,because of the variety of the clients and the channel fluctuating and being disturbed easily,it is a great challenge to transport video stream.In this paper,we present a video structure of RoI steam transcoded from H.264/SVC stream,and this video stream can supply various streams to different clients.In order to improve the efficiency of transmission,we present a bandwidth estimation model based on testing the packet-loss rate.Then we set up a experiment system on NS2 and test the proposed algorithm.The results show that using the proposed algorithm can make the video stream transported reliably in the wireless network and heighten the subjective effect of the video.
