Research of Building Unified Communicating and Exchanging Platform for Video Monitoring System of Power Grid Using SIP Protocol

Currently most of video monitoring systems built by local power grid corporations are running independently and cannot be interconnected.The reason is that there were no ready standards or criterions that can be followed at the initial stage.Today these individual monitoring systems cannot meet the need of browsing video streams at multidistrict in electric power production.The first thing to connect these individual systems is to unify call commands and video coding standards,and the State Grid is drafting corporation standard of Power grid video monitoring system and interface.Based on the actual situation of power companies nowadays,this article put forward a proposal of interconnecting these different video systems.
