Digital watermarking technology is an important branch in the research field of information hiding. Nowadays , it is a focus in information hiding and digital media copyright protection of the network too. At present, the research of digital watermarking tech- nology is centralized on the protection of static picture and video , etc, while the research of natural language watermarking is few. The main methods and technological characteristics of natural language watermarking are analyzed and compared at present. The approach and adversary model of natural language watermarking are provided. An algorithm of natural language watermarking is described based on semantics. The developing trend of natural language watermarking in the near future prospects well.
