A Traffic Gathering System Based on the Wireless Sensor Network

A traffic monitor system based on wireless sensor network(WSN) is proposed.The wireless data gathering as well as the vehicle detecting based on magnet sensor is adopted.The traffic data is transmitted by the multi-hop transmission mechanism of WSN.The system has the unified background management system,and the user can get the traffic information in real-time.Compared with the traditional monitor system based on the wired data gathering and induction coil,the system proposed in this paper has advantages in maintenance and realizes the traffic monitor in real-time.
