Financial evaluation of stocks based on factor analysis

This paper employs the method of factor analysis in the evaluation of stocks.Makes an empirical analysis to demonstrate the theory.The analysis is based on the data of 2003 Annual Report of the oil and chemical stocks.Utilizes the software of spss10.0 as the analysis tool to classify many complex financial indexes into several factors,which contains most of the information of the stocks and also attain both a score and weight for every stock,according to which sort the stocks.
