A Novel Approach for Speech Camouflage Communication Based on Speech Quality Evaluation

Pla Uni · Signal Processing · 2003

In order to ensure that security speech can transmit securely over PSTN, A new method for speech camouflage communication is researched. After 2.4kb/s low bit-rate coding, binary parameters embed into frequency domain of ordinary speech secredy based on objective quality evaluation. According to the contrary procedure, the receiver can restores security speech. Experiment results show that SNR improved 3.5dB comparing with conventional methods, and it is strongly robust to many attacks such as compression, filter and so on.
