Research on Time Delay Estimation Based on Second Correlation

A new technique to improve the accuracy of time delay estimation combining the second correlation and Hilbert transform is presented.The method sherpening the second correlation peak,improves the accuracy of delay estimation and obtains higher precision in lower SNR.Theory analysis and simulation prove algorithm validity.
