Multi-function Mathematical Model Software Package TK-2D on Coast and Estuary is a multi-function trademark five-fields mathematical software which has been developed and brought forward by Tianjin Research lnstitute of Water Transport Engineering on the basis of mathematical model improvement,perfection of mathematical models on coast and estuary.TK-2D is the first indigenous trademark software with its own independent copyright in the water transport engineering industry in China.In this paper,an introduction to TK-2D is made,which includes its main module,its assistant module,its grid treatment technique,its important coefficients and parameters and its important engineering applications.
