Properties of polypropylene charged membranes by Ultraviolet Irradiation Induced graft copolymerization

The polypropylene(PP) hollow fiber charged membrane grafted by acrylic acid(AAc) is prepared to analyze the streaming potential on the surface of membrane,and its intercept rate for BSA is researched.The results show that compared with the non-modifed one,the intercept rate of grafted membrane for BSA increases in evidence.PP membrane′s surface is positive electricity but on the grafted membrane′s surface the negative electricity increases gradually with the grafted ratio increasing.By interaction of membrane′ grafted chain and BSA molecular,the result adsorption of BSA to grated membrane as follows,pH=3 pH=4.7 pH=8.
