Application of E1 Wireless Transmission Systems Based on IEEE 802.11a

The respective features of IEEE 802.11a and E1 transmission are introduced.The system structure is described.The typical application modes of the wireless transmission systems based on IEEE 802.11a are presented.Compard with the traditional E1 microwave transmission systems,the E1 wireless transmission system based on IEEE 802.11a can be easily constructed in many ways for much lower cost,and it can multiplex E1 data and IP data while using free frequency band. The system can be used as a substitute of or a supplement for the traditional E1 microwave transmission systems.
