Aimed at the outstanding problems such as low location accuracy,heavy volume of the artillery acoustic survey system at present,a new type of acoustic survey system based on acoustic sensor array was proposed in order to meet operational demands.Five-element acoustic array model was set up and compared with traditional four-element cross array model.Location precision of two models were analyzed and compared,and the precision superiority of five-element acoustic array location was described.The conclusion is that the precision of five-element acoustic array is higher than that of four-element cross array,and the systematic error resulted from uncertainty of four-element cross array was overcome.Location precision of the model developed in the research is high and it can be satisfied with the requirments of location accuracy.
