Application and Research of UML in Real-time Software System

UML is the most popular object-oriented modeling language, the blue-print of information technology and the method to describe system architecture. Like the non real time system, the application of UML in real time system becomes more and more popular. Different companies have different extension to UML. However, OMG has not set anyone as standard. In this paper an example is used to describe the meaning and result of the extension by the application and research of UML/RT by IBM Rational B. Selic.
