Realization of Multiple Serial Communication Using TL 16C554

TL16C554 is an asynchronous chip of TI company with four communication routes.The functions and registers of TL16C554 is introduced in this paper,and a hardware circuit using TL16C554 for realizing multiple serial communication is described,and a software design of MPC860 initializing TL16C554 is given.
