Entropic Squeezing and Quadrature Squeezing for the Superposition State of the Vacuum and the Coherent State

Hongcai Li · Journal of Fujian Normal University · 2004

The entropic squeezing and quadrature squeezing for the superposition state of the vacuum and the coherent state |α〉 is studied, and their relations is discussed. The results show that: if the parameter b and the coherent state's swing R are given different values, the entropic squeezing is content with the entropic uncertainty relation and the quadrature squeezing satisfies the Hersenberg uncertainty relation, what's more, both of them, the entropic squeezing is a more sensitive measure for the squeezing effect of the field.
