The design of database is one of the important component in the design of information management system,it is the core and foundation in the information management system.The web-based Laboratory information management system selected Microsoft SQL Server 2000 as a database management system,which applies object-oriented database structure into the design,makes a rational and effective physical design from three aspects of data dictionary,ER diagrams,data tables.This design will greatly improves efficiency and quality of system development.
