Joint Routing and Channel Access in Cognitive Mesh Networks

Nodes in cognitive mesh networks can change their communication channel actively,which affects routing and link establishing.A joint routing and MAC access scheme for cognitive mesh networks were proposed that avoid 'Deafness Problem' induced by changing channel frequently and hiding terminal in wireless communication.Simulation results show that,in the scenario of networks that have the same special channel resource,this scheme can provide better throughput by utilizing unoccupied primary channels effectively.
