Application of P3 project management software in first phase construction of Shenzhen Qianwan gas turbine power station

Project schedule, resources management and cost control were the factors that engineering construction enterprise concerned; P3 project management software was one of the mature software which carried out project schedule management currently. For the purpose of improving management ability, P3 E/C was applied in the first phase construction of Shenzhen Qianwan gas turbine power station in project progress management. Implementation of the whole project management lifecycle including coding plan, schedule levels, establishment and control of the schedule was described in detail. Four functions of the software on engineering project management are summarized: enhancing project management consciousness, arranging working period collectively, foreseeing problem and managing scientifically, and optimizing project schedule. Affirmative conclusion is elicited and further improvement in expense management is put forward.
