A Novel Digital watermarking Technique Based on Local Iterated Function System

Li Guan · 2002

A novel digital watermarking technique based on Local Iterated Function System (LIFS) is proposed to improve the quality of watermarked image and the robustness of the watermark. Using invariance property of the fractal parameters of the original image and restored image, we can embed digital watermark into Luminance Shifting Factor of original image. Experimental results show that the proposed technique can make the quality of the watermarked image better to some degree and it is robust against some image processing operations and Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG) compression.
