Study on Semantic Interoperability in Web Service Registry and Repository Model

As a solution to the problem of non-interoperation among different Web Service Registry and Repository standards(such as UDDI or ebXML),we provide an approach to combine MFI with ontology technologies to create an architecture of Web service registry and repository supporting semantic interoperability.We ensure the semantic consistency between the original and the new ontology by defining the ontology evolution rules.Finally,a model of prototype system based on these methods is introduced,and the evaluation results of this system show that the recall ratio of Web service query is improved in comparison to the single model of Web service.
